What is her Fangirl interest?
She loves Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (anything from Tolkien to be honest), MLP: FIM (and old school MLP as well), Star Wars, Doctor Who, anime, some series from DC (Flash, iZombie, Constatine), boardgames, etc. Those are also her main inspirations to her art and handcrafts.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Well, not only because she’s my companion, but because she’s a Fangirl who deserves the recognition. She’s very professional, but she’s also a true geek who is capable of using her Harry Potter necklaces when going to work. She’s also been a great help in my Star Wars videocast which shows that she’s ready to shine if necessary.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
She’s very much into handcraft stuff, from cross stitching to making her own Harry Potter wands. She also likes to cosplay when she has the chance. As I said before, she’s also a great help in Clone TV, a videocast about Star Wars. She is a member of a Geek association here in Algarve (Portugal) and is a recurrent participant in comic and sci fi events around our area. We also started a boardgaming group in our town.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
I could say that her sewing kit is kind of a Fangirl item, as she uses it to make geeky stuff.
