Name of Fangirl: Raileigh
Fangirl’s School Grade: Homeschool first grade
What is her Fangirl interest?
Raileigh is the biggest little Star Wars fan you will ever meet. It began a few years ago when she rode Star Tours at Hollywood Studios for the first time. She was four at the time and fell head over heels for Star Wars. Her parents had never even seen the movies, so it was a whole new world for them! They went home and purchased all six Star Wars episodes. The rest is history. Raileigh has rubbed off on her parents, who now love Star Wars {almost} as much as she does!
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Raileigh is an amazing little girl. She is a true individual who isn’t influenced by those around her. It doesn’t matter that all the other little girls are playing with dolls and watching the newest princess movie. It doesn’t matter that almost everything Star Wars is focused towards the boys. She feels confident and free to be who she is and let her individuality shine.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
Star Wars is a part of many things that Raileigh does. She once said that even when she’s doing other things, Star Wars is on her mind. From hanging out in her Star Wars room, to building Star Wars Lego sets and reading Star Wars novels, her world is filled with Star Wars. Her mom has even been known to create assignments in school that involve Star Wars just to make them appeal more to Raileigh. She also likes to attend Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World and dress up as her favorite characters. Her goal in life is to become the President of Walt Disney World and has been designing many new Star Wars rides she wants to build, including an AT-AT carousel. She is true to the rebellion and her lightsaber of choice is blue.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
Raileigh has a stuffed Wicket W. Warrick ewok that is her constant companion.
