Who: 27 designers compete to win the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe for Hot Topic. Hosted by Actress, Entrepreneur and Founder of Her Universe Ashley Eckstein. Celebrity panel of judges including Cindy Levitt (Senior Vice President, Merchandise & Marketing, Hot Topic), Nathan Sawaya (World Renowned LEGO artist), Brinton Parker (Assistant Editor of Trending and Viral Features at POPSUGAR) and last year’s fashion show winners and designers Leetal Platt and Kelly Cercone.

The Her Universe Fashion Show, the ultimate runway for fangirl fashion, returns to the world’s premiere comic book and popular arts convention, San Diego Comic-Con. Hosted by actress and Her Universe founder, Ashley Eckstein, this year, twenty-seven amazing designers have been selected to compete in the world’s top “geek couture” fashion show. The ultimate prize? The chance to win the opportunity to design a fashion collection with ground breaking fangirl fashion company and lifestyle brand, Her Universe, to be sold exclusively at leading pop culture retailer, Hot Topic. This year, the entire show is being filmed for the finale of the new exclusive docu-series, The Her Universe Fashion Show: Fashion Meets Fandom, on Comic-Con HQ – the streaming video-on-demand network and produced by Blondie Girl Productions. The docu-series follows the designers from their first stitch to their final strut on the catwalk. Two winners will be announced live at the event and one winner will be chosen by viewers at home who can vote online. The series finale will air the week after San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 28th.
