What do you do for the company?
I am an HR Coordinator for TNDC (our distribution center in Tennessee)!
What makes you “you”?
I think I surprise most people as I am Muslim and wear hijab and an abaya (long black dress) and am still a total nerd despite the fact that my appearance would say otherwise. I am never what people expect when they see me! I love anything Japanese (sushi, anime, fashion) and am a huge fan of Batman. I also love Pusheen (I have about 7 stuffed Pusheens!). Groot and Thor are also favorites for me as is Wonder Woman!
What do you like most about what you do?
I love that I can connect with employees in a way that can help them reach their goals and help solve any obstacles they come upon. I love working at Hot Topic and consider it the best job I have ever had. I worked in a super corporate environment before coming here and I am happy that Hot Topic allows employees to express themselves and their ideas freely.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about eco-friendly living. I am not saying that I am perfect in any way but I do my best! I also love sustainable living and have 4 chickens and a small garden!
The possibilities are limitless! If you could do anything in this universe, what would it be?
I would eliminate hate. This world needs love terribly. Be kind to every person you meet, you never know what a small act of kindness could do in someone’s life.
