Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Sarah is part of Virtual school so she doesn’t get much interaction with other kids. However we attend all our local Cons so she can cosplay and meet many different people and some that are her own age. She struggles sometimes in social interactions because of her fandom. She often gets roped into labels like geek and nerd but she is a special young girl who deserves to shine just the way she is.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
Sarah shows her fandom by attending cons and cosplaying. She often dresses up like a Jedi Padawan to her mom’s Jedi Master. Her next cosplay will be from Kingdom Hearts, she worked hard to purchase a keyblade and the outfit to go with it. She also loves to draw her favorite characters any chance she gets.
