What is her Fangirl interest?
Star Wars
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Episode 7 rejuvenated her obsession with Star Wars and she’s now more involved than she has been in about 2 years.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
She’s made Star Wars her life. She surrounds herself with it and has been very active in the fandom, always wanting to go to Celebration and Comic Con and Disney and other things like that. She’s been a fan since she was 9. She has at least 100 of the books and spent 3 months making a chronological list of every book, comic book, and short story in timeline order so she wouldn’t buy the same thing twice. She has 6 different versions of some of the movies, and her walls and ceiling in her room are completely covered in posters. She used to buy guys t-shirts before Her Universe became popular, and now she loves the brand and looks up to Ashley immensely. Star Wars is her life, she spends all her money and time on it. She’s even made my own Star Wars blankets and pillows and other things, and goes as far as collecting the cereal boxes she gets at the grocery store. When she isn’t busy she listens to Star Wars podcasts and studies John Williams music, teaching herself how to play his songs on her piano. When they canceled The Clone Wars she wrote a letter to Lucasfilm asking them not to and has the letter they sent back in a frame on her wall. Star Wars gives her hope and life and a sense of community and it’s amazing to see something effect someone like that.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
The one thing she can’t live without is RebelForce Radio and the ForceCast, which keep her up to date on everything going on in Star Wars and the community and have for years.
