Star Wars (especially Episodes 4-6), Disney, Cheer (she’s fierce and a 3 time National Champion), Hello Kitty, and her cat Sheldon who was named after the character from the Big Bang Theory.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Lauren took it upon herself to like Star Wars. It wasn’t something that her family was into, though they’ve embraced her interest in it. As she started to like it more and more she realized that there weren’t any Star Wars items in the “girls” sections of stores. While we’ve found some thing (Her Universe is new to us), she needs to realize that she’s awesome for loving what she loves and she’s a pretty cool Fangirl.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
Wearing her Princess Leia costume around Disneyland and fighting Darth Vader. She also enjoys carrying around her purple lightsaber (just in case).
What is her favorite quote or personal motto?
“The Force is strong in this one” – while referring to herself.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
Her Darth Vader suitcase with light up wheels, her lightsaber, and her plush Yoda. The purple lightsaber trumps all.
