Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?
I met Erica through GrayHaven Comics when I had been looking to spotlight female creators. From my first interview I was impressed with her enthusiasm and responsiveness. We met in person at GeekGirlCon, where she showed me some of the upcoming work she was editing and I sat in on her panel with Gail Simone. Erica is a mother, juggling her job and fulfilling her dream to create comics, and she approaches all of that with passion.
Erica did an interview for FANgirl, and it is definitely worth the read. She currently has two projects in the Kickstarter phase. Flesh of White is comic about surviving albinism in Tanzania and You Are Not Alone is an anthology that addresses bullying.
