What is her fangirl interest?
Anika loves everything from Star Wars, the Avengers, Lego, to Barbie and all things girly. Her favorite character is Ahsoka, but also loves R2D2, Queen Amidala and Princess Leia. She also loves science, doing experiments and art projects, all things animal (especially dogs), planting flowers, has a stuffed animal collection and hunting for agates.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?
Because her Mom has been a fangirl since she was 7 and Star Wars came out in the theaters! And Anika loves it just the same!
How does this fangirl express her fandom?
All of her friends at school know she loves Star Wars since it is her favorite topic for Halloween parties! At age 6 she was not afraid to battle Darth Vader at the Jedi Academy. The Jedi Master claimed she could never join the dark side because she wears pink glittered shoes!
What is her favorite quote or personal motto?
“Ahhhhh!” as Han Solo runs from the legion of Stormtroopers in the Death Star as they are making their escape. 🙂

Her lightsaber!
