Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
This Fangirl is a diehard geek who loves what she loves passionately and even wants to write her own graphic novel series, let alone start an organization to create all sorts of geeky media, be it comic books, movies, or video games, that are top quality while simultaneously multicultural and impactful. Once upon a time…back in middle school, she studied her Marvel Encyclopedia like a Bible, and nowadays she’s always pouring whatever comic books or graphic novels she can get her hands on. Fully aware of the prevalence of geeks dealing with insecurity, inadequacy, and depression due to being an oftentimes unaccepted and underrepresented minority, she wants to use stories through her organizations to raise up geeks to walk out in their passions, interests, and identities confidently becoming world changers who’ll stand up and stand their ground even if they’re alone, or if other people see them as crazy. She thinks geeks have the potential to change the world, and her organization is going to start with media, but ultimately come down to raising up geeks to be leaders and world changers. She has plans to start conventions/conferences in correlation with her media, as well as school and academies for geeks to develop their talents and gifts for whatever they wish to pursue, no matter how odd and unconventional, to be a force of influence in the world.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
As I already mentioned, she’s studied her Marvel Encyclopedia like a Bible, a versed expert in most Marvel characters, especially her favorites: Spider-Man, Spider-girl (May Parker), and the X-Men. She’s watched through the 6 TMNT seasons multiple times, is always pouring over whatever graphic novels she can get her hands on with a low budget. (Most of her birthday money was spent on comic books) And of course, she watches all the currently running TV shows that she knows and loves. Her Facebook cover photo is of Spider-Girl (of course), and she plans to have quite the geeky wedding. Squealing, laughing, and crying through the stories she’s reading, you can know she’s a true Fangirl, passionate about what she loves. Also, she’s been to New York Comic Con, has dressed up as Padme for Halloween, and will engage in the most incessantly long conversations about superheroes you will ever have, if you happen to be a fellow geek.
What is her favorite quote or personal motto?
She has several:
“With great power comes great responsibility”
“To whom much is given, much is required”

“God uses the weak to shame the strong, the foolish to shame the wise. He takes the sick and despised, the things that are not, to nullify the things that are.”
