Charli loves Miyazaki’s animated films, especially Howl’s Moving Castle, Totoro, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. She likes X-men, Avengers, The Hobbit, Percy Jackson, Legos, How it’s made, and anything Disney.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Charli just amazes me with her interests. She loves Greek mythology, soccer, gymnastics, robotics, and reading. She’s not afraid to like things that other kids her age may not be interested in or be exposed to. I want to be like her when I grow up 😉 she is fun and fearless!
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
She was Princess Nausicaa for Halloween. Even though she was tired of explaining who she was to everyone, she loved being different. We went to our first Comic Con last year and she dressed as Amy Pond. We are going to a Dallas con in Feb and she is going as Nausicaa.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
She carries a Totoro backpack to school everyday.
