Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
She started Wear Your Superheroes Day to show her little sister, Leanna, that superheroes are for everyone and everyone should be free to be themselves without fear of being bullied after Leanna was bullied at school for wearing superhero T-shirts because some boys told her she was wearing “boys clothes.”
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
Wearing superhero T-shirts, reading comic books, playing Lego Batman and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and playing with her Storm action figure. Dressing as Hawkgirl for Halloween. And of course defending the rights of girls everywhere to show their love for Superheroes without being bullied.
