Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
am nominating myself for “Year of the Fangirl” as run by Her Universe. I have always been an avid Star Wars fan since I was a child and my mother showed me the original Star Wars trilogy. Since then, my devotion has grown to vast proportions. As a fervent Star Wars devotee, I use my love and knowledge of the fandom to influence others in a positive way. It is because of Star Wars that I have made friends and/or have had a connection to converse with other people.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
I express my adoration and devotion to the Star Wars universe in several ways. Aside from watching episodes I through VI, I watch The Clone Wars television series; I read and have read several novels (the Darth Bane series being my favorite); I read graphic novels; I have played Star Wars related videos games (like The Force Unleashed I & II); I wear Star Wars merchandise; I have several action figures; I blog about Star Wars; and aside from all of the material items, my love for the fandom grows every day.
A special moment that was extremely close to my heart took place when Sam Witwer replied to me on Twitter on several occasions throughout a period of time. I truly appreciate his hard work, dedication, and acknowledgement of his fans. Star Wars brings people together; no matter what way.

My books; A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) series, The Force Unleashed I & II, and the Darth Bane three book trilogy. I also cherish my Lord of the Rings trilogy, Decieved (Darth Malgus), the Harry Potter seven book series, and various others.
I also could not live without my computer or phone to keep updated with the latest Star Wars information (new video games; books; etc.) and to watch The Clone Wars television series. I also frequently watch the SyFy series Being Human as Sam Witwer stars as one of the main characters.
