What is her Fangirl interest?
Patricia enjoys reading comics on Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. She enjoys Dc, Marvel, Boom, image and Dark Horse comics, which includes Star Wars! She loves Ahsoka Tano. Video games are a past time with such titles as Kingdom Hearts or Red Dead Redemption. She is just getting into Doctor Who, Christopher Eccleston is her first doctor, and she is passionate about Supernatural. Her room is filled with action figures and memories from Wondercon.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
Well, I am speaking for myself, so mostly it is to get out of my comfort zone. At work or certain friends, I cannot dive into a fandom topic. My knowledge is always screaming at me to make different references at certain times. I blame my brothers for showing me the ways of Marvel and my mother for showing me how to be a Jedi. And when I say blame, I mean I love them for it. If anything they should be mentioned.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
She will dress up in her large collection of t-shirts she has acquired through cons, her lightsaber is a great flashlight/weapon of defense, and she is venturing into cosplay! One year she dressed up as Velma and it was a huge hit. This past year she dressed as Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and her brother was Oogie Boogie. Her car is filled with Star Wars toys, Chewie is always in the front seat, and it has Wonder Woman decals. She never leaves home without some sort of fangirl attire. She is also currently doing a charity for Supernatural fans!
What is her favorite quote or personal motto?
Don’t ever let anyone tell you different. You are amazing how you are and you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
This is a tough one but it is between her signed Jim Lee autograph, her signed booster gold comics, her photo ops with Misha Collins or her Captain Rex bucket.
