Star Wars isn’t her interest so much as it is her OBSESSION. She also loves Pokemon, Naruto, Japanese culture, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter.
Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
She is the ultimate Star Wars human encyclopedia. I told her I only saw the movies once and she was horrified. So she made me watch them all. In one day. She’s too busy to nominate herself because she’s in school earning a degree in Communications at the University of Washington so that she can go to film school in Hungary. She wants to become a director and hopes to one day be a pupil of George Lucas.
How does this Fangirl express her fandom?
She owns nearly every Star Wars novel ever published. I think her count is past 415? I lost count. She used to write Star Wars fan fiction with her brother when they were younger, along with drawing maps of the planets to showcase the location of her stories. She has models of the spacecrafts hanging from her ceiling and posters covering every wall in her room. There is a Boba Fett bobblehead on her car’s dashboard and a Boba Fett sticker on her back window.
What is her favorite Fangirl item that she cannot live without?
She has way too many to choose one, but from my experience, she would cry without her posters. Or she’d just buy them all over again.
