Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this Fangirl?
We’ve been best friends for nearly 15 years, and this past weekend, I ran the Walt Disney World Half as the Red Leader X-Pilot, she went above and beyond to costume up for the theme!
She rocked out in her Her Universe R2-D2 dress, complete with Disney Duffy Bear as C-3P0, and six, different SW themed cheer signs! Seeing her “I Know” sign just as I was turning to charge the Finish, gave me the final kick necessary for Chewie to punch it over the line! We’ve gone to the premiers of multiple sci-fi/fantasy films together, and while I am in Ravenclaw and she is in Hufflepuff, she is the Spock to my Kirk, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
