Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?
I started watching Stargate SG-1 from my local library years ago and Kristen came into the room one day and has been on a sci-fi track ever since. Kristen has really come out of her shell since embracing herself as a sci-fi fan. She is more outgoing and not as shy. We took a trip to NYCC in 2010 so Kristen could meet the cast of her favorite webseries, Riese: Kingdom Falling. I was so proud of her, when my shy daughter, took the initiative to help pass out flyers, pins, and spoke about the series to help promote something she believed in.
