Year of The Fangirl is such a great expression of female fandom that I want to help spread the word that girls can rock sci-fi/fantasy as well as us boys. Sarah is such a great embodiment of a fangirl. As her husband, everyone assumes that I got her into Star Wars; but that is actually what brought us together!

Sarah is very fashionable. She is always making clothes for herself with Star Wars fabrics. Whenever she goes out she is always representing it one way or another. She also cosplays as Slave Leia or her most recent Star Wars/Disney mash-up creation – Jedi Tink.
