Kaitlin looks to empower others to be proud of their passions and show it through their dress. She hopes that she can dispel the myth that just because you’re a geek that you can’t be fashionable.
With her 365 Days of Video Games Fashion project, Kaitlin wants to show that video games inspired items can be worn for all occasions including work, school, gym, prom, weddings and more.
Kaitlin showcases a variety of apparel on her blog, PwnLove, to disprove the myth that video games fashion is simply just t-shirts. There is a great variety of options out there including leggings, jackets, jewelry, pants, bags and more.
Kaitlin pushes the video games industry through content and on-going dialogues with vendors for:
-more apparel options rather than just t-shirts or hoodies
-options for women since many t-shirts tend to be unisex
-innovative, subtle designs that celebrate the game rather the standard logo apparel

After a year of writing about video games fashion and two years about geek culture, Kaitlin decided to embark on a quest to wear an entire year of video games fashion. It wasn’t enough to just write about it, she wanted to live it. She currently just pass 50 days of video games fashion and is determined to make a full year. She posts daily photos of her outfits on Instagram.
She also writes about video games fashion finds on PwnLove.com and hosts a weekly video series about video games fashion news called Epic Loot
What is her favorite fangirl item that she cannot live without?
“Don’t Make Me Go Zelda On You” T-shirt. It was her first Zelda t-shirt and even though it’s falling apart, she’ll never part from it.
