Her Universe Promises Exciting Reveals at WonderCon
Los Angeles, CA – March 28, 2017 – Her Universe, the lifestyle brand and leader in fangirl fashion, will have a big presence at WonderCon, the sister show to San Diego Comic-Con at the Anaheim Convention Center March 31st through April 2nd.

The Her Universe Fashion Show Update (Saturday, April 1st, 1:30pm to 2:30pm in room 208): For the last three years, Her Universe and Hot Topic have produced The Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-con. Last year, three winners were chosen and given the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe to be sold in Hot Topic stores. To kick off the 2017 fashion show, fans and designers will be able to attend the Her Universe Fashion Show Update panel at WonderCon where they will be the first to hear updated information on submitting their designs for this year’s show and get a sneak peek of the upcoming Hot Topic collection designed by last year’s winners, Hannah Lee Kent, Camille Falciola and Jesse Thaxton. Giving Advice on how fans can go from runway to retail will be actress, Her Universe Founder and voice of Star Wars Rebels’ Ahsoka Tano, Ashley Eckstein, Senior Brand Manager of Her Universe, Cat Carson, GMM merchandising, Hot Topic, Ed Labay, VP Brand Marketing, Hot Topic, Andrea Lewis and Jennifer Tisdale, EVP Blondie Girl Productions.
Her Universe Portfolio Review (Saturday, April 1st from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in room 206B): For fans and designers looking to submit their designs for The Her Universe Fashion Show or who just want to get into the business of geek fashion, they are invited to share their portfolio with industry professionals from Her Universe and Hot Topic and get tips and advice on how to best prepare their fashion portfolio.
Junior Fashion Designer’s Session (Saturday, April 1st from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in room 210): This one-hour session for aspiring fashion designers (ages 6 to 17) is free with a WonderCon badge and encourages young people to use their imagination and sketch out their designs with Ashley Eckstein and the Her Universe team.
Her Universe Boutique (booth #1337): New Her Universe designs will be available for purchase and Ashley Eckstein will make regular appearances and sign Ahsoka Tano Funko Pops while supplies last! Ashley will be at the booth: Friday: 11:00AM-1:00PM and 2:30PM-4:30PM, Saturday: 10:30AM-11:30AM, Sunday: 1:00PM-4:00PM
In addition, don’t miss Ashley hosting the WonderCon Anaheim Masquerade Saturday at 8:30pm in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.
